Yan's Newsletter 2005

Dear all,

We hope that you are all well and fit this year. It has been a very busy year for us. Sally started high school at the end of January and since then all our weekend activities are gone. We haven't been away much this year.

The girls have changed to another Chinese school to continue their Mandarin studies on Sunday morning. Sally had to go to interschool sports competition on most Saturday mornings. Sometimes we had to drop her off as early as 7 o'clock in the morning. Besides sports, she had to take nine subjects this year with two languages. She has picked French and Mandarin. Sally has done very well to cope with all the tests and assignments.

Camilla has joined the Girl Guides this year and she enjoyed in participating in all types of activities. She is still learning piano and swimming.

Our female cat, Bozi, has given birth to four beautiful kittens in the new year. We are keeping two kittens and have given the other two to the girls' babysitter who gave us Bozi.

Francis has been busy with an office relocation project in Ericsson since July. I am still in computer training and consultation as well as tutoring in university.

Since Sally's school have started summer holidays in early December, we have just gone to Lorne for a few days' holiday. It has been such a relaxing time.

We wish all of you have an enjoyable Christmas and New Year. Wish you all have a happy, healthy, and safe 2006.
